Who's hot and who's not for the Baltimore Orioles:

Rotation

Jake Arrieta Here's his line for the last 7 days: 8.2 IP, 13 H, 13 ER, 4 BB, 8 SO, 13.50 ERA. Yeah, the number 13 is not lucky.

Wei-Yin Chen Scattered a bunch of hits against Boston, but allowed just 1 to score. Didn't walk anybody in that start as well.

Jason Hammel Didn't have his best stuff yesterday, but was stronger in his first start over the past seven days. Totaled 5 ER, but walked 8 to 11 strikeouts.

Tommy Hunter Numbers for Saturday's start weren't awful, but cool it with the home runs, dude. Days in the rotation are likely numbered with Zach Britton on his way back.

Brian Matusz Lasted just 2 innings in his most recent start against Boston. Walked 5, did not K a single batter, and was tagged for 4 ER.
Bullpen

Luis Ayala Tagged for an earned run, but was mostly solid over 3.1 IP.

Dana Eveland Pitched three scoreless in relief of Jake Arrieta against Philly on Friday. Can't really ask for any more out of your long man.

Miguel Gonzalez Solid 4 innings of long relief (for Brian Matusz), but ended up back in the minors to make room for Hunter.

Kevin Gregg Oh, is he still here?

Icon_dash_medium

Jim Johnson Got his first blown save after a home run that possibly wasn't. Went right back out and got the win an inning later, then picked another save (his 18th on the year).

Darren O'Day Yeah, he gave up a run in that 7-0 loss to Boston, but can't complain much since he followed up with 3 scoreless innings over 2 more appearances.

Troy Patton Outing in Boston was rough, but recovered in yesterday's game.

Pedro Strop Blown save in a game the O's would eventually win, but was solid otherwise.
Lineup

Robert Andino Numbers continue to dip as the slump rolls on. OBP has now dropped below .300 for the season after a 6 for 26 week with no BBs.

Wilson Betemit After a 3 for 14 week, Betemit is now 4 for 21 in June. Ugly.

Endy Chavez A decent 8 for 27 (.296) week, but no XBHs.

Chris Davis Among the most solid O's at the plate this week. Went 5 for 15 with a double, home run, 2 BB, and 3 RBI.

Ryan Flaherty A 4 for 12 week (all singles) essentially makes up one of Flaherty's best weeks of the season. Eek.

J.J. Hardy Pretty dismal week for Hardy, who went 3 for 29 (.103), but did have a home run and triple. Homer was his first since May 14th.

Nick Johnson Not really serving any purpose, as he never plays. Went 2 for 4 this week.

Icon_dash_medium

Adam Jones We'll ignore the 5 for 27 week on account of the sweet walk-off homer on Saturday (and the fact that his OPS is still .913).

Icon_dash_medium

Ronny Paulino Just 2 for 9 this week, but did manage to reach base in all three games he played in.

Icon_dash_medium

Steve Pearce Like Paulino, Pearce hit 2 for 9 this week, but hey, this is way better than watching Wilson Betemit in the OF.

Mark Reynolds Ugly 2 for 15 week at the plate. Pretty ugly in the field too.

Steve Tolleson Just 1 for 8 on the plate (home run yesterday was sweet), but comments about importance of Roberts to team were pretty classy. Keep it up, bud. You'll be back to the team soon.

Matt Wieters Continues his slump busting with an 8 for 24 week including a walk-off double in yesterday's game that was pretty close to leaving the park.
