Short week, but let's see who was hot and who was not for the post-ASG Baltimore Orioles:

Rotation

Wei-Yin Chen Should have picked up a win after a solid 6 inning start on Saturday. Gave up just 1 earned run on two hits. Added 5 strikeouts.

Miguel Gonzalez Decent start. Only 3 earned runs in 5+ innings, but did walk 5 batters.

Jason Hammel dan o'hare's 90 win projection has to take a hit after the Orioles best starter heads to the DL after knee surgery. Not at all a good way to start off the second half.

Bullpen

Luis Ayala Got pretty roughed up in the first game of the series. Allowed 2 hits in his second appearance. Has already allowed 5 runs in July.

Dana Eveland Pitch poorly, get DFA'd. Like Staples, that was easy.

Kevin Gregg No comment.

Jim Johnson Picked up just his 2nd blown save of the year. Of course, only one of those runs was earned.

Steve Johnson Bravo for the ML debut.

Matt Lindstrom Nothing of significant interest.

Darren O'Day See above.

Troy Patton Scoreless thru 1.1 innings, but gave up 3 hits and a walk in the process.

Miguel Socolovich Gets an up arrow for another MLB debut.

Pedro Strop Per usual, just takin' care of business.
Lineup

Robert Andino Two for 10 in the first series of the second half, but did add a home run. Injured his shoulder diving for a ground ball and will have an MRI.

Wilson Betemit Kicked off the second half to the tune of 2 for 9 and got dominated by Justin Verlander (0-3, 3Ks).

Endy Chavez Got 1 AB and walked.

Chris Davis Another "2 for" to start the second half. Davis went 2 for 12 with an RBI.

Ryan Flaherty After getting a bunch of time in the OF with Markakis ailing, he's now in line to get some infield time with Brian Roberts and Robert Andino hurt.

J.J. Hardy The black hole at the top of the lineup continues, as Hardy finished the series at 1 for 14 (just 4 for 45 in July). At least the one hit was a home run.

Adam Jones Started off 3 for 12 and all three hits came in the same game.

Nick Markakis Great to see him back from the DL as well as in the leadoff spot. Went 4 for 14 in his first series back. All 4 hits were doubles. Let's say it together: Nick Markakis is a doubles mac....no, I won't say it.

Steve Pearce Did not have an AB. Playing time might be slim with Markakis back and Davis moving to LF (Chavez is likely the extra OF).

Mark Reynolds Continuing the theme of weak offensive performances, Reynolds was 1 for 10. He did, however, have 3 walks (all in the same game) to go along with his 3 strikeouts.

Taylor Teagarden Extra inning walk off homers are pretty cool....

Jim Thome Okay, he had four hits (and two were doubles), but does anybody else think we're looking at Vladdy 2.0 here?

Steve Tolleson Running out of things to say here....

Matt Wieters Four for eight at the plate.
