So, July got off to a less stellar start than one would hope and now the O's head to Seattle. Hammel attempts to halt the current string of poor starts as he takes the mound tonight against Hisashi Iwakuma. Fun fact about Iwakuma: he was posted in 2010 and the A's won the bidding, but they were unable to agree to terms with him, so he returned to Japan. Okay, there's nothing really fun about that. Carry on.
