If you thought this offseason was going to suddenly get more eventful, you thought wrong.


Maybe I'm just in the wrong business. In scant few Washington weeks, there's been talk of cliffs, trillion dollar coins and high stakes negotiations while we yearn for the flimsiest of trade rumors and the occasional indy league signing. Indeed, these are hard times for the bird-centric hot stove junkie. Eh...I'll still take the latter.
