The O's finished 2013 well, securing a winning season for the second year in a row.

Standings

The O's finished the season at 85-77, tied for third place in the AL East with the Yankees (12 GB) and 6 GB of a Wild Card spot.

Results

The O's went 4-2 in the last week of the season, 2-1 to take the series from Toronto and 2-1 to take the final series of the year from the Red Sox.

Run Differential

-3, but most of those runs allowed came in the 12-3 laugher against Boston.

Best Hitter / Worst Hitter

Brian Roberts takes the title of Best Hitter this week, as he hit .364/.391/.682 (195 wRC+) to finish out the season. J.J. Hardy went the other direction, hitting .333/.333/.375 (92 wRC+) in the final week.

Best Pitcher / Worst Pitcher

Miguel Gonzalez finished the year off strong: 7 IP, 0 ER, 5 K, BB. Scott Feldman turned in a clunker of a start: 2.1 IP, 8 ER, 1 K, 0 BB, 1 HR.

Davis at the Dish Update

Davis socked HR #53. He stands now as the only major-league player to ever finish a season with 53 HR. Weird, huh?

Manny's Doubles Update

Adam Jones "The Power and the Patience" Update

Jones hit his 33rd home run, a career high, but did not walk.
