A lot happened this week. You may have missed it when you were so busy being annoyed at the Orioles.

It was a very active week in the MLB (outside of the Orioles), in fact so much happened that it got hard to keep track of. Warning, this may make you depressed about the Orioles Here's a rundown of notable moves in the A.L. East and across MLB:

American League East

Yankees:

- Signed Brendan Ryan to a two-year, $4 million contract with an option for 2016.

- Signed Brian McCann to a five-year, $85 million contract with a vesting option for 2019.

- Signed Jacoby Ellsbury to a seven-year, $153 million contract.

- Re-signed Hiroki Kuroda to a one-year, $16 million contract.

- Signed Kelly Johnson to one-year, $3 million contract.

- Signed Carlos Beltran to a three-year, $45 million contract.

Phew!

Red Sox

- Signed A.J. Pierzynski to a one-year, $8.25 million contract.

- Signed Edward Mujica to two-year, $9.5 million contract.

- Re-signed Mike Napoli to a two-year, $32 million contract.

Rays

- Re-signed Jose Molina to a two-year, $4.5 million contract.

- Traded for Ryan Hanigan and Heath Bell, in three-team trade, sending Justin Choate and PTBNL to the Diamondbacks.

- Signed Hanigan to a two-year extension for $10.75 million with an option.

- Re-Signed Juan Carlos Oviedo (aka Leo Nunez) to a one-year, $1.5 million contract.

Blue Jays

- Signed Dioner Navarro to a two-year, $8 million contract.

MLB

- Seattle Mariners signed Robinson Cano to a 10-year, $240 million contract.

- Nationals signed Nate McLouth to a two-year, $10.75 million contract with an option for 2016.

- Marlins signed Rafael Furcal to a one-year, $3 million contract.

- Astros sign Scott Feldman to a three-year, $30 million contract.

- Rangers signed J.P. Arencibia to a one-year, $1.8 million contract.

- Rockies signed Justin Morneau to a two-year, $12.5 million contract.

- Mets signed Curtis Granderson to a four-year, $60 million contract.

- Marlins signed Jarrod Saltalamacchia to a three-year, $21 million contract.

- Dodgers signed Brian Wilson to a one-year $10 million contract with a player option for $9 million. Oof.

- Twins signed Phil Hughes to a three-year, $24 million contract.

- Phillies signed Wil Nieves to a one-year, $1.125 million contract.

- Tigers signed Joe Nathan to a two-year, $20 million contract with an option.

- Mariners signed Willie Bloomquist to a two-year, $5.8 million contract.

- Royals acquired Norichika Aoki in a trade with the Brewers for Will Smith.

- Giants re-sign Ryan Vogelsong to a one-year, $5 million contract.

- Athletics sign Scott Kazmir to a two-year, $22 million contract.

- Nationals acquire Doug Fister from the Tigers for Robbie Ray, Steve Lombardozzi, and Ian Krol.
