The affiliates went 4-0 tonight, including solid nights by the Brittons. What else went down?

Norfolk won 5-1. Zach Britton gave up 1 ER in 6 IP on 5 hits and 2 walks, strking out 2 with a GB/FB of 13/0 (!). Jonathan Schoop went 1-5 with a K. LJ Hoes went 2-4 with a walk and a K. Russ Canzler went 1-2 with 3 walks. Good to see Britton with another strong start. He hasn't tallied a lot of K's, but he has tallied a ton of ground balls in his 3 starts.

Bowie won a wild one, 13-11. Xavier Avery went 1-6 with a walk and 3 Ks. Ty Kelly went 2-6 with 2 Ks. Johnny Ruettiger went 1-3 with 2 walks and a K and an error. Clay Schrader gave up 1 ER in 2.2 IP on 2 hits (1 HR) striking out 2, walking none with a GB/FB of 4/2. Zech Zinocola pitched around a walk and a hit while striking out 2. Buck Britton and Caleb Joseph both homered twice.

Frederick won 9-8 in 12. Nicky Delmonico went 1-4 with a double, 2 walks, 3 strikeouts and 2 errors. He was also removed for a pinch runner. Glynn Davis went 2-6 with a triple with 3 Ks. Brenden Webb went 1-6 with a double and a K. Allen de San Miguel hit his second homer of the night in the 12th which would be the game winner.

The Shorebirds won 6-2. Christian Walker went 2-3 with a double and a walk. Adrian Marin went 1-4 with 2 Ks. Joel Hutter went 0-5 with 2 Ks and an error. Torsten Boss went 1-4 with a double, a K and an error. Gregory Lorenzo went 2-4 with 2 Ks. 22 y/o lefty Matt Taylor gave up 1 ER in 6 IP on 2 hits, striking out 6, walking none, with a GB/FB of 11/3.
