Glynn Davis had himself a day today, and the minor leaguers went 3-2 on the day.

In Game 1, Durham beat Norfolk 3-2. Zach Britton was the story, but not in a good way. He went 2 innings, giving up 1 ER on 2 hits and 4 walks, striking out 1 with a GB/FB of 3/1 and of his 54 pitches only 24 were strikes. Not good. L.J. Hoes went 1-4. Jonathan Schoop went 1-2 with a walk.

Game 2 was the makeup game, and Norfolk beat Durham 4-3. Schoop went 1-2 with a HBP and a GIDP. LJ Hoes DNP.

Bowie had a rough game, blowing a 3 run lead in the ninth, and lost it in eleven. Xavier Avery went 0-6 with 2 strikeouts. Ty Kelly went 2-3 with a homer and 3 walks. Lew Ford went 0-3 with 3 walks. Our buddy Zech Zinicola gave up 2 ER in 1 inning on 3 hits and a walk, striking out 1.

Frederick won in dramatic fashion, with a walkoff homer from Glynn Davis! The Keys won 3-2 and Davis was responsible for it all, going 2-5 with 2 homers (a solo in the sixth and a two run walk off job in the 10th). Brenden Webb went 0-4 with only 1 strikeout. Nicky Delmonico went 1-4. Tim Berry started 2013 right by yielding 1 ER in 5 IP on 5 hits, a walk and a HBP, striking out 2 with a GB/FB of 4/5.

Delmarva beat Hagerstown 2-1. Gregory Lorenzo went 0-3 with a walk and a SB. Torsten Boss 0-5 with a K. Christian Walker 1-4 with 2 runs batted in. Joel Hutter went 1-3 with a walk. Rod Bernadina went 1-4 with a SB. Adrian Marin went 0-3 with a HBP. 2012 second rounder Branden Kline went six scoreless on 2 hits and 2 walks, striking out 3 with a GB/FB of 9/3. One of my sleepers, Juan Guzman pitched a scoreless ninth, but walked two.
