Norfolk wins 8-7 today. Jair Jurrjens took the start and gave up 5 ER in 7 IP on 7 hits (1 HR), striking out 7, walking none, with a GB/FB of 3/5. It's worth noting that he was outperforming his FIP all year, so maybe today it caught up to him. His ERA for the season stands at 3.14 with a K/BB of 36/15 in 51.2 IP. LJ Hoes goes 1-4 with a sacrifice bunt. Jonathan Schoop DNP.

The Baysox DNP. Henry Urrutia was seen standing around second base though.

Frederick won 7-3. Thanks in large part to PBRme's twitter campaign, Christian Walker was freed to Frederick this weekend, and tonight he went 0-4 with 2 strikeouts. Nicky Delmonico also returned over the weekend, and he went 1-4 with a homer and a K. Glynn Davis went 2-3 with a double and a walk. Zachary Davies gave up 2 ER in 7.1 IP on 4 hits (1 HR) and a walk, striking out 4 with a GB/FB of 11/4.

Delmarva lost 4-3, giving up a run in the ninth. 23 y/o 6' 3" rightie Brady Wager gave up 2 ER in 6 IP on 4 hits and 2 walks, striking out 4 with a GB/FB of 10/2. Coming off a much needed nice weekend, Adrian Marin went 2-3 with a double and a triple and a K. Joel Hutter goes 0-4. Gregory Lorenzo went 1-4 with a K. If you held out any hope for Connor Narron, it's worth noting that he was demoted over the weekend after batting 196 in Frederick.
