The affiliates would go 1-3 tonight, with the Tides off. After the major league game, I could use some good news. Who would provide it?

Bowie would lose 11-6. Under the radar prospect Devin Jones got lit up again, giving up 5 ER in 5.1 IP on 7 hits and a hit batsman, striking out 5, walking none, with a GB/FB of 4/5. His ERA stands at 6.00. Xavier Avery went 2-4 with a walk, a SB and a K. Ty Kelly went 2-5 with a double. Henry Urrutia went 1-5.

The Keys won 3-1. Eduardo Rodriguez had a really nice start, giving up 1 ER in 7 innings on 3 hits while striking out six, walking none and posting a GB/FB of 8/4. The 20 year old lefty has an ERA of 3.90. Trent Howard followed him up with 2 scoreless, striking out 2 and allowing a hit. Brenden Webb went 0-3 and is now batting 179. Glynn Davis DNP. Johnny Ruettiger went 1-4 with a K.

Delmarva lost 3-1, getting only 2 hits. 22 y/o lefty Matt Taylor gave up 3 unearned runs in six innings on 3 hits and 3 walks, striking out 7, with a GB/FB of 7/3. His ERA is 1.19 so far. Matt Hobgood follows him with 3 scoreless hitless innings, walking 2 and striking out 2 with a GB/FB of 4/1. The Hobgoblin carries a 1.15 ERA. Adrian Marin went 0-4 with 2 Ks and an error. Christian Walker went 0-3 with a walk and a K. Joel Hutter went 0-4 with a K. Torsten Boss continues to recover from his slow start, going 1-2 with a double, a walk and a K. Gregory Lorenzo goes 0-3 with a walk and 2 Ks and his 7th stolen base of the year.
