The Tides beat Syracuse 8-2. Jake Arrieta had a very nice outing, giving up 2 ER in 7 innings on 6 hits and 2 walks posting a GB/FB of 10/2. Jonathan Schoop goes 1-3 with a walk. Lew Ford goes 2-4 with a double. LJ Hoes 0-5 with a K.

Bowie tops Richmond 7-2. Mike Wright had a strong performance, 2 ER in 6 IP on 8 hits and HBP, striking out 5, walking none and posting a GB/FB of 2/8. Jason Gurka followed that up with 3 scoreless, yielding a hit and a walk and a hit batsman, striking out 3 with a GB/FB of 2/2. Gurka is off to a nice start in AA. Henry Urrutia DNP. Ty Kelly 0-4 with a walk. Xavier Avery went 0-3 with a walk, 2 Ks and a sacrifice bunt.

Frederick lost to Myrtle Beach 4-3 in 15. Tyler Wilson gives up 1 ER in 6 IP on 2 hits and 3 walks, striking out 5 with a GB/FB of 6/2. Brenden Webb goes 2-7 with 3 Ks. Johnny Ruettiger went 0-5 with a walk and was removed for a pinch runner.

Delmarva lost 3-2 in 10. Branden Kline had a game he desperately needed, giving up 1 ER in 6 IP on 3 hits and a walk with 2 wild pitches, striking out 5, with a GB/FB of 8/3. Miguel Chalas followed him up with a solid 3 IP, giving up 1 ER on 3 hits and a walk, striking out 1 with a GB/FB of 4/2. Christian Walker goes 2 for 5. Joel Hutter goes 0-3 with 2 walks. Adrian Marin takes a golden sombrero, 0-4 with 4 Ks. Torsten Boss goes 1-5 with a double and 3 Ks.
