Norfolk 6, Syracuse 5: The Tides prevailed in the 11th with five multi-hit performances. Jonathan Schoop and L.J. Hoes doubled (2-4, SB), while Trayvon Robinson (0-2, SB) walked three times and Russ Canzler walked twice. Jairo Asencio blew the save opportunity. The pitching performances on the day were otherwise unremarkable.

Bowie 1, Akron 2: Kevin Gausman pitched seven more innings without a walk (one walk in 35.2 innings this year). He allowed a homer and two earned runs, while striking out three and inducing nine groundouts. The X-Man wrapped up a week in which he had nine hits, six walks and five steals with a three hit effort. Henry Urrutia hit his sixth double in the last week and Zelous Wheeler tacked on two walks.

Frederick 6, Carolina 5: Zach Davies got knocked around in 5.2 innings as he allowed five earned and nine baserunners. Davies struck out one and induced nine groundouts. Brenden Webb had a single and a double, while Jonny Ruettiger and Glynn Davis each had a hit and a pair of walks (Davis doubled and was caught stealing

Delmarva 5, Charleston 2: The Hobgoblin poached his third victory of the season, throwing 4.1 innings of one hit ball while walking none and striking out three. Mark Blackmar left the game after allowing an earned run and seven baserunners in 3.2 innings. Christian Walker was 3 for 5 and Greg Lorenzo picked up his twelfth steal of the season (he has yet to be caught). Torsten Boss also doubled and walked.
