ADAM JONES, MASCOT

I keep seeing these commercials where fans get to challenge Adam Jones with a competition of their choosing. I guess you shouldn't challenge him to mascoting because this sparked a rally to give the O's a lead.

ADAM JONES, KING OF TAL'S HILL

Adam Jones made a couple of great catches, sprinting back to the particularly deep area in centerfield of Minute Maid Park known as Tal's Hill. Pitchers like this sort of thing.

In the next game the Astros figured out that hitting balls over other parts of the wall is better than aiming for this little hill and flagpole thing, otherwise the Orioles could have swept.

I think we are no longer surprised at Manny Machado making these plays, but we are still amazed.

After this play, Matt Wieters pulled out his Sharpie and put another CS tally mark on the inside of his chest protector. But this time he also scrawled "Casilla is pretty good. Remember to give him a fist bump later".
