Norfolk was rained out.

Bowie lost 4-3. Mike Wright threw a QS, giving up 3 ER in 6 IP on 5 hits, 2 walks and hit 2 batters, striking out 3 with a GB/FB of 10/1. Henry Urrutia and Ty Kelly each went 1-4 with a K.

Brady Wager's rude greeting in the Carolina League continues, as he got rocked in a 8-0 whitewashing at the hands of the Potomac Natinals. Wager allowed 6 ER in 4.2 IP on 7 hits (2 HR), 3 walks and also hitting 2 batters, striking out 5 with a GB/FB of 5/4. Nicky Delmonico returned to 3B, going 0-3 with a walk and a K. Christian Walker went 0-3 with a walk. Brenden Webb went 0-3 with a walk and 3 Ks.

Delmarva lost 5-4. 22 y/o lefty Matt Taylor was not especially crafty tonight, giving up 5 ER in 6 IP on 9 hits (2 HR), he struck out 5, walked none and posted a GB/FB of 10/3. Adrian Marin went 1-4 with a K and an error. Joel Hutter went 0-1 and was removed from the game early but managed to commit an error before departing. Torsten Boss went 1-4 with a double. Lucas Herbst went 3-5 with a double and a K.

The original DSLers lost 2-0. 18 y/o Venezuelan righty Wendell Floranus went 5 scoreless, scattering 3 hits and 2 walks, striking out 2 with a GB/FB of 7/4. Victor Medina went 0-3 with a walk and a K.

The other DSLers, despite being 1 hit, managed to win 1-0. 18 y/o Columbian Yeizer Marrugo yielded 3 hits and a walk in 6 scoreless, he struck out 3 with a GB/FB of 8/4. Ademar Rifaela collected the one hit, going 1-2 with a walk and a K.
