The affiliates once again go one for four, with the Tides being rained out and a DSL squad providing the only victory. But there were some positive signs for some prospects...

`The Tides were rained off. Kevin Gausman's AAA debut will have to wait another day...

Bowie got blown out, 9-1. Eddie Gamboa gave up 4 ER in 7 IP on 5 hits (1 HR) and a walk, adding in 2 wild pitches and a hits batsman, while striking out 5 and posting a GB/FB of 9/4. Oliver Drake gave up 1 ER in 2 IP on 2 hits and 2 walks, striking out 3 with a GB/FB of 1/2. Ty Kelly went 0-4 with a K. Rehabbing Nolan Reimold went 0-3 with 2 Ks. Henry Urrutia DNP. Frederick is off on their ASB. Added, without commentary, is that Friday is Fredneck night featuring Sgt. Slaughter.

Delmarva is also off on their ASB.

Aberdeen lost 10-5. Janser Severino, a 21 y/o righty from the Dominican, struck out 5 in 2.2 IP, allowing 1 ER on 3 hits, with a 3/0 GB/FB. Hector Veloz went 3-4 with a homer and a K. Cory Segui entered the game as a defensive replacement.

The original DSLers lost 9-0. Rochenrick Alexander went 1-3 with a double. Victor Medina went 0-3 with a K.

The other DSLers provided the lone W of the night, 3-2. 18 y/o Francisco Jimenez had another solid outing, yielding 1 ER in 5 IP on 2 hits and 3 walks, striking out 4 with a GB/FB of 9/4. Ademar Rifaela went 2-3, but was picked off once and caught stealing another time.
