The Tides lost again to Indianapolis, this time by a count of 2-1. Josh Stinson gave up 2 ER in 4.1 IP on 4 hits and 4 walks, striking out 6 with a GB/FB of 1/2. LJ Hoes went 1-3 with a walk. Xavier Avery went 0-5 with 3 Ks. Brandon Wood went 2-4 with a triple and a K. Jose Contreras picked up the save for the Indianapolis squad, fyi.

Bowie won 5-3. 2011 10th rounder Tyler Wilson had another effective start in AA, going 6 IP, allowing 2 ER on 6 hits (1 HR) and a 3/1 K/BB and a GB/FB of 7/5. Jason Gurka allowed 1 ER in 1.1 IP on 4 hits and a walk, striking out 2. Henry Urrutia goes 2-4 with a homer and a double. Ty Kelly went 1-3 with 2 walks.

Frederick was off. I expect all of you to go to the game tomorrow if you can. With the Fredneck promo and an appearance by Sgt. Slaughter, how can you say no?

The Shorebirds won 6-3. Juan Guzman's nice little stretch continues, 0 ER in 6 IP on 2 hits and 3 walks, striking out 5 with a K/BB of 4/5. Adrian Marin went 2-4 with a K while committing his 11th error on the season. Joel Hutter went 1-3 with a double, a walk and a K. Torsten Boss goes 0-3 with a walk.
