Game 77: Cleveland Indians (38-36) @ Baltimore Orioles (42-34), 7:05

After a disappointing road trip, the Orioles are back home. Zach Britton faces off against Ubaldo Jimenez, whose 4.66 ERA might trick you.

The Orioles and Indians will try to play around the thunderstorms tonight in the first of a four-game series. Zach Britton gets his second chance to make a good impression, while the up and down Ubaldo Jimenez takes the mound for the Indians.

Jimenez had just a terrible April, but has gotten better since. He's mixed in a few duds with mostly solid starts since then. One thing he loves to do is walk batters. He's walked at least four batters in four of his fourteen starts and three in four more. He has a BB/9 of 4.7 on the season.

Britton had a decent but not great game against the Detroit Tigers last week and now he's out to prove he still belongs here. He'll have to do so against the Indians' offense which is above average overall, but which has slowed down considerably over the last four weeks.

The Indians are currently in second place in the A.L. Central, four games behind the Detroit Tigers. But after a hot May they are playing just below .500 ball so far in June, with a run differential that backs it up. They're a team with a lot of hitters that can hurt you even if they are currently under-performing. They also for some reason have Jason Giambi on their roster, who I didn't realize was even still alive.

Will the O's get their mojo back after getting swept in Toronto? Will Mark Reynolds seek revenge on his former team? I'm guessing the answer to one of those will be yes. I just don't know which one.
