In Brian Roberts' return, the Tides scored five in the bottom of the eighth and won 6-3. Roberts went 2-4 with a double and a K. LJ Hoes went 2-4 with a double. Brandon Wood went 1-4 with 2 Ks. Xavier Avery went 0-3 with a walk and an assist. Josh Stinson gave up 3 ER in 7 IP on 3 hits (1 HR) and 2 walks, striking out 3 with a K/BB of 15/3.

Tyler Wilson and Oliver Drake throw seven shutout innings to win Game 1 of a doubleheader, 1-0. Wilson scattered 4 hits and 4 walks in 5 IP, striking out 3 with a GB/FB of 7/3. Drake struck out 2 in 2 IP, giving up 2 hits, with a GB/FB of 2/0. Ty Kelly went 1-4 with a K and his 12th error. Nolan Reimold went 0-2 with a walk and a K. Henry Urrutia went 2-3 with a K.

Delmarva lost 7-6. Ending a string of encouraging starts, Juan Guzman gave up 5 runs all earned in 5 IP on 9 hits (1 HR) and 2 walks striking out 2 with a GB/FB of 6/4. Matt Hobgood gave up 1 ER in 4 IP on 3 hits, striking out 3 with a GB/FB of 6/3. Adrian Marin went 1-5 with 2 Ks. Torsten Boss went 2-4 with 2 doubles.

Despite being an official game, the Aberdeen game was suspended after four and a half, with the visiting iBirds trailing 8-4. Hector Veloz went 0-3 with a K.

The GCL Birds lost 3-1. Ronarsy Ledesma went 0-3 with a K.

The other DSLers lost 4-1. 18 y/o Columbian right hander Yeizer Marrugo yielded 2 ER in 4 IP on 3 hits and 2 walks, striking out 3 with a GB/FB of 3/4. Kelvin Mena went 1-2 with 2 walks and a K.
