Orioles top prospect Dylan Bundy cleared to resume throwing - baltimoresun.com
*IF* (as was speculated) there was an effort to have Dylan change his mechanics in order to speed up his delivery so as to keep runners closer to 1st, I would hope the 1st thing the O's do upon the resumption of his throwing program is to scrap that and tell him to just do what he did prior.

A Winning Team in Baltimore Brings Back the Fans | Baltimore Sports and Life
And the fans in turn pour money into the team. Money that could be used for extensions for Davis and Machado, perhaps?

On this date in history, the O's have had quite a bit of success beating up on the Yankees. In 1963 Steve Barber pitched 8.2 innings of 1 run ball to top the MFY 3-1. In 1988 the O's top the MFY 7-6 in 14 innings to earn their 12th win of the season. In 1997 the O's would win yet again, 9-7, getting to a young Andy Pettitte for 5 runs in 6 innings. After staying at a book signing event until 3 am, and signing 2200 some copies, Cal Ripken Jr. would go 1-4, with a BB and a HR. And in 2006 the O's pound the MFY 11-4. Brandon Fahey hit a HR! And Javy-licious Lopez hit 2 HRs, including one off a then broken down Scott Erickson, who's career would come to an end 4 days later when he was released by the Yankees. In 2010 the O's fired Diamond Dave Trembley, replacing him on an interim basis with Juan 'The Windmill' Samuel. One year ago today the O's selected Kevin Gausman with the 4th overall pick in the 2012 Draft. Yay!
