Norfolk lost 8-2. Mike Belfiore gave up 1 ER in 2.2 IP on 3 hits and 2 walks, striking out 4 with a GB/FB of 0/4. It is interesting to me that they are stretching out a guy who likely profiles as a LOOGY. Jon Rauch debuted with a scoreless, hitless inning, recording a K/BB of 1/1. LJ Hoes goes 0-4. Xavier Avery went 1-3 with a single and a SB. Brandon Wood went 0-3 with a sac fly.

Buoyed by the Henry Urrutia, the Baysox won 6-5. Urrutia went 4-4 with 2 homers tonight. Ty Kelly went 0-4 with a walk. Devin Jones gave up 4 ER in 6 IP on 7 hits (2 homers), striking out 5 and walking none, with a GB/FB of 7/5.

Frederick won a wild one, 7-6. The bullpen would blow a 2 run lead in the 9th and then give up a run in the tenth, though the Keys would comeback with 2 in the bottom of the 10th, courtesy of back to back homers. Zach Davies gave up 2 ER in 5 IP on 7 hits, striking out 4, walking none with a GB/FB of 6/1. Recently promoted RHP Miguel Chalas went 3 scoreless yielding a hit, striking out 2, walking none with a GB/FB of 4/1. Nicky Delmonico went 4-5 with a double and a homer, but also committed his 10th error in his 26th game. Christian Walker went 2-5 with a homer and 3 strikeouts and an error of his own. Brenden Webb went 0-4 with a K.

Delmarva lost 7-5. Matt Taylor, a fringy prospect with a solid ERA, was removed after 2 IP after allowing 1 ER on 1 hit and 3 walks, striking out 1. The Hobgoblin would follow him and struggle, yielding 5 ER in 4 IP on 5 hits (1 HR) and 2 walks, striking out 2 with a GB/FB of 8/2. Adrian Marin went 0-4 with 2 Ks and an error.
