Orioles GIFs of the Week

It's possible we have broken the record for the most GIFs on Camden Chat "before the All-Star break". There were those years when PEDs were common, and people were cranking out GIFs on amphetamines, but Chris Davis and I don't acknowledge those numbers.

Greg Fiume

Here we are at the All-Star break. The Orioles have seen the win column more than the loss column. Orioles players are heading to the All-Star game en masse, as if they're the darlings off the sport. We actually have a reason to watch the Home Run Derby. Not bad. Now let's look at some GIFs!

Last week some speculated I pushed this GIF to this week as part of a conspiracy to keep it from threatening the "BUCK KICK" GIF. Believe it or not I just forgot, or maybe ran out of time, or maybe both plus the fact that my GIF tastes lean toward the absurd, peculiar, silly, and interesting moments that aren't necessarily great sports plays. I can find those web gems elsewhere on the web, thank you very much!

But, I must acknowledge that some plays are memorable enough that the GIF must be made. So here it is. In this case it was made by Gordon Dixon, and I found it floating around the internet. It looked pretty much just right with slo-mo at the end to see that it was definitely an out. Can't improve on that much.

Perhaps Thor thought three all-stars sauntering back to the dugout after a bomb was too ostentatious, and he had to take this thing back to elementary school. Either way, I don't think he knew it was going to cause Jones to also get knocked on the nose by Nolan Reimold waiting to give a fist bump.

I'm kind of hoping it wasn't even wet at all because eeewwww.

Another great sports moment. Booooorrrring.

Just kidding. I like it.

Now we're talking. Everybody knows that Gary Thorne laughing is GIF gold. Also, Scott Feldman just turned in a good performance yesterday. He deserves one. Sure, being interviewed by an excitable Gary got him in here more than his baseball performance, but he'll be the first to admit that it's a team effort.

All other GIFs this week feature Orioles all-stars as their primary characters. You're in elite company, Scott.

This is a late entry that got in under the wire. I tweeted it out on a whim, and then it got a good reception. So hey, give 'em what they want. Plus, more all-stars!

That's it for this week. Don't forget to vote below. Do it soon because this poll closes earlier than usual! Follow @OriolesGIFs for all of the GIF action all week long. Retweet some stuff.

Stay tuned for more GIF posts this week. I'm thinking we are going to have a tournament to determine the best GIF thus far this season. After we're all done, we'll have the finals and figure out what the best GIF of the year was!
