Camden Depot: The Walks of L.J. Hoes

AL President Ban Johnson seizes control of the team the next day. At the end of the season the club will be relocated to N.Y. and renamed the Highlanders. In a few years time they will change their name again, this time to the Yankees.

In 1958 Pitcher Jack Harshman clubs 2 homers en route to defeating the White Sox.

One year ago today the Twins smoked the O's 19-7. After a dominating performance vs. Seattle upon his call up from the minors, Chris Tillman falls victim to the dread of having Mark Reynolds at 3B. Reynolds lets a routine grounder skip past him with the bases loaded and 2 outs in the 1st inning.
