Despite a strong effort by Freddy Garcia, Norfolk lost 2-1. Garcia went 5 IP yielding 2 ER on 4 hits (2 HR), striking out 3 with a GB/FB of 7/4. Mike Belfiore followed him up with 2 scoreless, hitless innings, posting a K/B of 2/1 and a GB/FB of 3/1. Henry Urrutia went 1-3 with a walk. LJ Hoes went 2-4. Xavier Avery went 1-4 with a walk. Brandon Wood went 0-4 with a K.

Likely crestfallen due to the departure of Ty Kelly, the Baysox managed to overcome their grief and win 3-2. Despite throwing 92 pitches, Mike Wright was only able to retire 12 batters, though allowing but a single earned run on 5 hits and 3 walks, striking out 2 with a GB/FB of 4/5.

Frederick lost 7-5 in 11. Michael Ohlman went 4-4 with a double and a homer and a walk. He also threw out 2 would be base stealers. He is continues to mash, and his batting average is up to .335 on the year. Nicky Delmonico went 0-4 with a walk and a K. Christian Walker went 1-5.

Delmarva won 6-2. Matt Taylor allowed 2 ER in 7 IP on 4 hits and a walk, striking out 5 with a GB/FB of 11/4. Mychal Givens followed him with 2 scoreless, striking out 3, walking one and not allowing a run or a hit. Adrian Marin went 1-4 with 2 Ks. Joel Hutter goes 0-4.

Aberdeen won 1-0 in 13 (!). Steven Brault had another encouraging performance, 4 IP, striking out 2, walking none, scattering 3 hits with a GB/FB of 5/4. 6' 9" RHP Dylan Rheault (2013 19th rounder) went 1.2 IP, yielding a hit and a walk, striking out none. Hector Veloz came in as a pinch hitter late, though would go 1-2 with a K and an error. He did score the game's lone run.

The GCLers were rained out.
