Norfolk lost 5-3. Freddy Garcia gave up 5 ER in 6.2 IP on 8 hits (1 HR) and 2 walks, striking out 5 with a GB/FB of 4/9; he also mixed in two wild pitches. Jonathan Schoop went 3-4 with a homer. Alex Liddi went 1-5. Xavier Avery went 1-4 with a double and a K.

Bowie was off.

Frederick lost 6-1. Brady Wager gave up 5 ER in 5.1 IP on 3 hits and 3 walks. Jesse Beal gave up 1 ER in 2.1 IP on 3 hits, striking out 3. Michael Ohlman went 1-2 with a double, 2 walks and threw out 1 of 2 would be base stealers. Rehabbing Steve Pearce went 1-2 with a walk.

Delmarva lost 9-3. Luc Rennie yielded 3 ER in 6 IP on 7 hits, striking out 4, walking none with a GB/FB of 5/7, mixing in a wild pitch. Adrian Marin DNP. 19 y/o Byron Capellan filled in at SS and went 0-3 with 2 strikeouts. Joel Hutter went 0-4. Lucas Herbst went 1-4 with a homer.

Aberdeen won the first game of a double header 5-1. Steve Johnson went 3.2 scoreless, giving up 2 hits and a walk, striking out 2 with a GB/FB of 3/3, also managing to hit two batters. Mike Yastrzemski went 2-4 with a homer and a double and a K. Hector Veloz went 0-2 with a walk and a K.

The iBirds lost Game 2, 7-3. Yastrzemski went 1-4 with a walk and a K. Veloz DNP in Game 2.
