Norfolk won 6-2. Josh Stinson gave up 1 ER in 5.2 IP on 3 hits (1 HR) and 2 walks, striking out 4 with a GB/FB of 5/5. Jonathan Schoop went 1-4 with a homer and two strikeouts. Xavier Avery went 0-3 with a walk and a K.

Bowie beat New Hampshire 4-3. Mike Wright gave up 3 ER in 7 IP on 8 hits (2 HR), striking out 6 with a K/BB of 7/4. Christian Walker went 3-4 with 3 doubles.

Frederick lost 9-5. Matt Hobgood gave up 7 ER in 2 IP on 4 hits, 2 walks and a HBP, striking out 2 with a GB/FB of 4/0. So that sucked. Michael Ohlman DHed and went 2-4 with 2 doubles.

Delmarva and Aberdeen were rained out.

The GCL Birds won 3-1. Hunter Harvey had something of an impressive line: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 8 K. His lone baserunner managed to steal second if you were looking for something for him to work on. His battery mate, Chance Sisco, went 1-2 with a walk, a K and a HBP.
