Starting Pitchers

Wei-Yin Chen is starting for the Orioles while Chris Archer takes the mound for the Rays. Chen gave up three runs in 5 2/3 innings against the Red Sox (despite allowing seven hits, yowza), but something tells me he'll need to be better than that if the Orioles want to get out of Tampa Bay with a win. The offense has looked putrid over the last three games, and they have to face Chris Archer this afternoon.

Archer has an ERA of 3.02 on the season and has only allowed three or more runs in six of his 21 starts this season. He has faced the Orioles once, way back in June. He held them to one run on two hits in seven innings.
