ALCS Game 2 Game Thread: Royals (1-0) @ Orioles (0-1), 4:07

Nothing to do but pick up from Game 1 and do it all over again, hopefully better this time. It's Bud Norris and Yordano Ventura starting for the Orioles and the Royals in Game 2 on Saturday afternoon.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

Well, that sucked. And let's never speak of it again. Which we won't have to if the Orioles go on to win the series; it'll just be a bump in the road. If they don't go on to win the series, we will speak of Game 1 again out of necessity, as the endless dissection of what went wrong takes place because there's nothing better to do in the offseason.

Will Adam Jones ever get a taste of postseason glory? Will the Orioles stop giving up home runs against this non-power-oriented team? Is Kansas City just the actual team of destiny, the way that we hoped that some day the Orioles would be? Maybe Bud Norris can keep up his 0.00 postseason ERA, although probably not, because have you seen the lefties in that Royals lineup?

Here goes nothing.
