One thing that the Giants have that the Orioles surely don't is a great pitcher along the lines of Madison Bumgarner. That's who San Francisco turns to in their knotted World Series to try to get the edge against the Royals before the series heads back to Kansas City.
The Royals themselves will look to the man they call Big Game James, although as we know his playoff record to date is suspect at best. That doesn't mean he will always fold in the playoffs, just that so far he has not done well. Even Cy Young winners are not guaranteed to dominate in the playoffs, as the Orioles showed - and Shields is no Cy Young winner anyway.
There is also a football game on tonight. Maybe your fantasy football fortunes will be impacted by it, or perhaps you have some gambling interest, if you are a degenerate. Good luck in any case.
