If a spring training game isn't on Baltimore-area TV or radio, does it really exist? If you're a paying customer for that sort of thing, you can tune in to either the Twins TV or radio broadcast for Wednesday evening's game, but you will otherwise be bereft of any game action other than what you might read on Twitter or here.
Though we live in a civilized era in many ways, when it comes to spring training, it's still the jungle out there. Look on the bright side: you probably don't want to see most of these guys anyway. Sure, it'd be nice to see if Chris Tillman's looking sharp in early spring action, but the other pitchers on the trip, according to MASN's Roch Kubatko, are Zach Britton, Steve Johnson, Eddie Gamboa, Mike Belfiore, Tim Berry, T.J. McFarland, Troy Patton, Fabio Castillo and Zach Davies. How many of them do you actually care about?
The lineup looks much the same. For those who've gotten themselves interested in the success of Ryan Flaherty - which does include me - then a couple of plate appearances for him might be nice to see, if only spring training plate appearances mattered at all. The same is true for those who have an enduring and irrational fondness for Nolan Reimold because of his rookie season, five years ago now.
Some other guys will also be on the field and in the plate doing stuff, but you know, whatever. I don't care about Xavier Paul.
