POWER-HITTER BROMANCE
Adam Jones just blasted a home run to dead center in Yankee Stadium. Chris Davis gets emotional about this sort of thing.
GREAT JUMPIN' UMPS
Heh. The ump's got moves. At first it looked to me like he was intentionally moving to his left to jump over Jonathan Schoop's double to look cool. More likely he was just trying to position himself to better judge it as fair/foul. Or he thought it was going to keep hooking more. Or something else that's not as fun.
#YOLOUGH
Really Steve Lombardozzi deserves about 90% of the credit for ending this game with a W in the 12th by hitting a one-out triple just before this. If he didn't hustle to third, David Lough's little single probably wouldn't have scored a run. But hey, #YOLOMBARDOZZI makes even less sense and someone needed to bring Steve the last 90 feet.
I'm sure there are more David Lough puns that you can use, but the only one I can think of right now is "How Lough can you go?"
UBALDO'S SEASON SO FAR, IN ONE GIF
I kinda liked this GIF because of the dramatic zoom and because it would work well with antlers and headlights. But I'm not completely giving up on this guy yet (not that we have a choice). He has been close to some decent outings, but then... so far.
Another reason I liked this GIF is because it was not, in fact, a reaction shot to a home run, but to a pretty good running catch by Delmon Young. Young collided with Adam Jones, and everybody was limping around and not looking at all happy.
On 3, cut to the pitcher who is... not quite comprehending what he's looking at.
THE FIRST ONE
Not exactly clutch, if you noticed the score. But hopefully this is the first of many for Chris Davis.
