Orioles @ Red Sox lineup and game notes - 4/21

So, Friday was kinda OK, Saturday sucked, Sunday sucked and there's a game before noon. Sounds like the perfect time to start a winning streak!

I had to scroll through 3 screens of 15 photos each before I even found one of an Orioles. SBN hates us, too.

It's a day game after a night game, and not just a day game, but a morning game. Yuck.

When/Where to Watch

Game time: 11:05 am, Fenway Park
TV: MASN, MLBN
Radio: 1090 (WBAL), WEEI (BOS)

Pitching Matchup

For the Orioles, it's Wei-Yin Chen, (2-1, 4.76 ERA). Chen turned in his first quality start of the season against the Rays, allowing a run on five hits and striking out four in the win. His history against the Red Sox isn't so good. In eight games, they are hitting .349/.379/.513/.893 collectively against him. He's 2-3 with a 5.24 ERA against them. Ugh.

For the Red Sox, it's Clay Buchholz, (0-1,  5.51 ERA). From MLB.com: "In 16 career games against the Orioles, Buchholz is 9-3 with a 3.40 ERA. In two starts against Baltimore last season, he went 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA, giving up three runs on 10 hits and four walks with 12 strikeouts over 14 innings."
