Jeremy Guthrie's time with the Orioles was marked by him giving up a lot of home runs while getting extremely poor run support. This is the kind of thing that led him to have a loss hung on him many times, many of which were not particularly his fault. The segment of Orioles-interested individuals who occasionally wake up when it isn't football season to offer forth opinions about the team were not pleased by this, but they are, by and large, morons when it comes to the sport of baseball.
Anyway, I hope he gets the true Oriole experience tonight, only while wearing a Royals uniform. Do us a solid for old times' sake, Guts. And Orioles hitters, do us a solid and treat a guy with a 4.80 ERA the way he should be treated.
