Game 81: Rays (34-49) @ Orioles (42-38), 1:35 pm

If the Orioles want to get a split with the Rays, they'll need to beat Alex Cobb.

Mitchell Layton

After losing last night, the Orioles could lose three of four to the Rays over the weekend if they can't win this afternoon. And with the pitching match up of Alex Cobb vs. Miguel Gonzalez, winning is easier said than done. The silver lining to last night's game, if you choose to see it, is that both the Blue Jays and Yankees also lost. To some that might actually make it worse since the O's had a big chance to move up and instead they blew it against Erik Bedard.

But that's the past, nothing to do but more forward from here. So best of luck to the Orioles today. If MiGo can keep it together, they'll have a shot.
