On this day in 1975, Dave Duncan doubled in his fourth consecutive at bat; in 1997, Cal Ripken hit his second grand slam of the season and Mike Mussina picked up career win 100 as the Orioles defeated the Red Sox 8-1; in 2009, the Orioles completed the greatest comeback in team history erasing a nine run deficit to come back and beat the Red Sox 11-10. Eddie Gamboa threw a seven inning no hitter for the Baysox on this day in 2013.
