VIDEO: Manny Machado ejected for throwing bat, both benches empty

Manny Machado was ejected from Sunday's game for one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. He threw his bat in a way that made it seem like he was trying to make it look accidental, but, well... just see for yourself. Keep in mind the previous pitch was thrown at Machado's legs, which was an obvious message following his behavior Friday night. Still, there's no call for this to happen:

After the game, Orioles manager Buck Showalter matter-of-factly noted that he probably could have appealed that Machado did not swing at the pitch until after it had crossed the plate.
