Friday Bird Droppings

Tom Pennington

Thankfully, tonight is the last 10 pm start for the Orioles this year, but it's a Friday, so we can handle it...right, folks? Anyways, for those of us that dreaded this West coast trip, how are we feeling now? Even bumping up against King Felix tonight, you have to like the O's chances of at least a split. I'd also like to briefly praise Delmon Young. As much as I've questioned the necessity of another DH type on this roster, he pretty much performs when called on to perform and sits without complaint when he isn't. Considering his reputation as something of a hard case, there's not too much more you could ask for.
