The Boston Red Sox had announced that today's game between the Red Sox and Orioles has been postponed. It will be made up tomorrow as part of a day-night doubleheader. Though this could create problems in the near future regarding the starting rotation, you have to think the Orioles will be happy to have the rest. While the Red Sox were off tomorrow and didn't have to travel, the Orioles played last night and have only been in Boston for a few hours.
Assuming the pitching match ups remain the same, the 1:05 game will feature Miguel Gonzalez vs Jon Lester, and the 7:15 game will be Ubaldo Jimenez vs. John Lackey.
The weather might be bad in Boston, but here in Baltimore it should be clear and relatively pleasant, with highs in the low 80s. So enjoy your cookouts and your fireworks and such, and we'll see you back here tomorrow afternoon for the doubleheader.
