Game 89: Orioles (48-40) @ Nationals (48-39), 7:05

The Orioles open up a four game stretch against the Nationals on Monday night. Two games will be in each city. Chris Tillman starts for the O's as Chris Davis returns to the lineup. Stephen Strasburg starts for Washington.

Rob Carr

For the third time in as many years, there are stakes for both teams as the Orioles take on the Nationals. The O's have a tenuous hold on a two game lead in the AL East, while the the Nationals are a bare half-game behind Atlanta for the lead in the NL East.

We open this year in Washington, and for the first time in MASN history, there will be separate broadcast booths for the series. That means you will not have to be subjected to Bob Carpenter or F.P. Santangelo for any point of the series.

Steve Pearce is on the bench, because it's an NL park and there's no DH, so have fun watching Chris Tillman stand there and pretend he might swing at a pitch. Good luck against Stephen Strasburg, Chris Davis and all the rest of you.
