Game 131: Rays (64-68) @ Orioles (75-55), 7:05

New, comments

The Orioles and the Rays are back in action on Wednesday night. Kevin Gausman and Drew Smyly are your starting pitchers for the contest.

The Orioles have won two straight games against the Rays. They still don't face a team that's above .500 until a September 12 series against New York. Their magic number is currently 26. This is the time to find a way to make some hay. They performed well in the gauntlet against tough teams, but they need to beat the softies too. A loss isn't the end of the world, neither are two or three straight losses. Every loss potentially reduces the size of their cushion, though. So just keep on winning.

It's Darren O'Day t-shirt night at Camden Yards tonight. He was not used in last night's game, perhaps to make sure he gets a chance to appear in the game tonight. Just between you and me, though, I hope that Kevin Gausman throws a complete game shutout so there's not even a need to use O'Day.

How does the man himself feel about getting his own shirt?

The shirt is popular with teammates. Who wore it best?
