Game 135: Twins (59-77) @ Orioles (79-56), 1:35

It is a holiday and holidays in the summer mean baseball. Kick back and watch the Birds go for the sweep.

Rob Carr

Happy Labor Day and happy September! It is a new month, roster's have expanded, the O's are nine games up in the division and possess the second -best record in all of baseball. Baltimore is abuzz with baseball-mania with less than a week until the first Ravens game of the season. Bonkers!

The Orioles expect a large crowd today as there is an Adam Jones Bobblehead giveaway to the first 25,000 fans in attendance. And expect for a lot of cuts to new players in the dugout from MASN. This includes the return of Joe Saunders, Ryan Webb and Evan Meek in addition to the new signings of Alejandro De Aza and Kelly Johnson.

It is a matinee and you are most likely off work anyway. So, take a load off, celebrate the last twinkle of summer and watch the O's try to get to 24 games over .500 and sweep the Minnesota Twins.
