Game 156: Orioles (93-62) @ Yankees (80-75), 7:05

The Orioles kick off a four game series against the Yankees with the opener on Monday night. Wei-Yin Chen starts for the Orioles, with Michael Pineda starting for the Yankees.

Regulars Nick Markakis and Adam Jones return to the lineup on Monday night, although there's still no Steve Pearce.

The Orioles remain in a position where their magic number to clinch at least the #2 seed in the AL - meaning home field advantage in the ALDS - is 1. All they have to do is win one game, or have the Tigers lose one game, and they get the third home game, if needed, in the ALDS.

The last time the O's saw Michael Pineda, it was his first start in his return from the disabled list. He held them to only two hits over five innings. The good news is the O's probably won't be seeing Pineda in the postseason this year. The bad news is they're going to have to beat good pitchers if they do want to advance in the postseason, whoever they end up playing.
