It's tough to get too worked up about the National League part of the playoffs, to be honest. Sure, I guess I'd like it if the Cardinals lost because they're just so boring and annoying, but I'm not THAT invested in the Cubs winning - or at least not on days where Jake Arrieta isn't pitching.
And as far as Mets-Dodgers? More like Meh-ts. I find I am no longer so invested in them now that the playoffs are here and they are not the direct competition of a team I do not like. I don't really hate any of these NL teams. Someone will win each of these series. Good for them. Someone will also lose each one. Bummer for them. It could have been worse.
Anyway, on tap tonight is Game 2 in each of the NLDS matchups, with the schedule as follows:
5:37pm: Cubs @ Cardinals (St. Louis leads, 1-0)
Starters: Kyle Hendricks (CHI), Jaime Garcia (STL)
9:07pm: Mets @ Dodgers (New York leads, 1-0)
Starters: Noah Syndergaard (NY), Zach Greinke (LA)
Each of these games will be on your television on TBS, provided that you get TBS, of course. Or if you're out somewhere and not near a television, that's cool too. Who really wants to watch a game where the pitchers are batting anyway?
