The Saturday League Championship Series game thread

The number of baseball games remaining dwindle. All teams still alive will be playing today.

At the absolute most, there will be only another 20 MLB games played this year. There could be as few as 11 more if every remaining series ends in a sweep. Two of however many games are left will be played today. The first of the two is little more than a warm-up for the more interesting National League series - not that NL baseball is inherently more interesting, because obviously it's not, but Mets-Cubs is a matchup that has plenty of intrigue.

First, though, the American League. The Blue Jays can't score any fewer runs than they did yesterday. Will there be any dramatics if Yordano Ventura pitches inside? Even if there's no bench-clearing there still might be dramatics, as was seen last night in the moment captured in the photo above. A pitch sort of came vaguely near Jose Bautista and he went sprawling like a Duke basketball player trying to draw a charge. Lighten up, Francis.

The schedule for today is as follows:

4:07pm Eastern: Blue Jays @ Royals (Kansas City leads, 1-0)
Starters: David Price (TOR), Yordano Ventura (KC)
TV: FS1

8:07pm Eastern: Cubs @ Mets (first game)
Starters: Jon Lester (CHI), Matt Harvey (NY)
TV: TBS

Who ya got today?
