This looks like a good one. Maybe it actually will be. Arrieta vs. Syndergaard is the stuff you imagine the postseason should be made of. Two of the best going against one another in a game where the stakes are high. The Mets would quite like to take a 2-0 lead as the series travels to Chicago. The Cubs would quite like to steal one of the CitiField games heading back to the friendly confines of Wrigley.
It's not exactly baseball weather out there. By the time game time rolls around up there, temperatures could be in the range of the mid-40s. Will that affect either team more than the other? Mid-October games are new to both sets of players. Probably it won't matter all that much. And as the ALCS sails along towards what will be an unsatisfactory conclusion no matter which of the teams wins on that side, about all we can hope is that the stronger of these two NL teams - whichever that may be - is the one that emerges.
You could also be a horrible person who chooses to watch football instead of this crucial baseball game.
