Orioles spring training game thread: vs. Blue Jays, 1:05

The Orioles have had a strong recent stretch of Grapefruit League games, which they'll be looking to continue today at home against the Blue Jays.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The rare spring training treat of a televised Orioles game awaits us this afternoon. The game will even be televised on MASN and have announcers who are familiar and not terrible. I listened to Pirates radio yesterday and I've never appreciated the Orioles radio broadcast so much in my life.

One person who won't be in for a treat with this broadcast is Jonathan Schoop. He's not there. He will be absent for a few days because he has to get some oral surgery done. Apparently he may need to have wisdom teeth removed. I've been there. Ouch.

The below Orioles lineup is not correct. They haven't posted a corrected lineup, but the change will be Chris Davis as either 1B or DH, Steve Pearce could change to the DH, and Jimmy Paredes will be on the bench instead. The reason for this, according to Roch, is that Davis will not be making tomorrow's road trip and Buck did not want Davis to go two days without playing. Spring training really is a different universe.
