The Orioles are back on the Baltimore airwaves, or at least the radio ones, for a Saturday afternoon spring contest against the Red Sox. Or at least against a team wearing Red Sox jerseys. It seems from this lineup that the Sox are continuing to ignore the requirement to send a certain number of regulars on a given road trip. Probably they will continue to do so without consequence because they are the Red Sox.
It's the first spring appearance for Bud Norris, who's scheduled to pitch the first two innings for the O's. Other pitchers who are in the bullpen are: Wesley Wright, Hunter Harvey, Dylan Bundy, Pat McCoy, Eddie Gamboa, Oliver Drake, and Chaz Roe. Maybe Harvey will get a look later on in the game.
How do you feel about this lineup for an Opening Day lineup? Well, a regular lineup, since Chris Davis will be suspended on Opening Day, but you know. Other than Steve Clevenger, this looks like a regular starting nine, and perhaps even a lot of it in the same order.
