Orioles Game 6 Thread: vs. Blue Jays, 1:35pm Eastern

The Orioles and the Blue Jays are set to play the decisive third game of their series on Sunday afternoon. O's nemesis Drew Hutchison starts for the Jays.

One of the stars of last night's game will not be in the starting lineup today. Jonathan Schoop has been scratched with a sore left quad. He is supposedly available off the bench today but is not in the field as the contest begins. So probably there won't be another grand slam from him today.

Maybe somebody else can hit one, like Manny Machado, who doesn't have any hits at all this year. A single would be a fine start. Especially considering today the Orioles face Drew Hutchison, who's basically never been good at the big league level against any team other than the O's. There's no better time than the present to exorcise the demons of the past.

This is the rubber game of the series. If the Orioles can just find a way to keep winning two out of three, this season will start to have an awesome shape very soon. They'll have their #1 starter on the bump, Chris Tillman, to help them try to do that. Here's hoping he has a good day and gets them off on a good start to taking down this series.
