The game hasn't even started and I'm already tired of hearing about Nick Markakis against his former team. It's only spring training, after all, though the O's will be playing the Braves during the regular season.
It is weird looking at a game lineup and seeing Markakis' name but not on the Orioles though, right? I thought I'd made a typo at first. No, this is just the way it is.
Tonight's game returns us to the days of a game that's neither on TV nor radio in the Baltimore area. If you're an MLB GameDay Audio subscriber, you'll be able to listen to the Braves broadcast of the game. That's still better than nothing.
Only three spring training games remain, including this one. All of them will be played against the Braves. Some temas have packed up and headed back north already, but the O's have to stick around in Florida to play the Rays, and the Braves open up in Miami, so I guess they figured they'd just kick in and play one another a few times at the end of camp. It's not the weirdest thing about spring training.
