Norfolk Tides 1, Rochester Red Wings 3

Christian Walker hit his second homer of the year, but his teammates were unable to add to the total. Chris Jones was solid in six innings of work, but he allowed two home runs. Jorge Rondon struck out a pair of batters in 2.1 innings of scoreless relief. Rondon hasn't allowed an earned run since making his Tides debut.

Bowie Baysox 2, Richmond Flying Squirrels 5

Much like their big brothers, the Baysox displayed an acute ineptitude with runners in scoring position (1-10 on the day). Garabez Rosa and Glynn Davis each had two hit days while Mike Yastrzemski singled and was credited with his seventh outfield assist of the season. Parker Bridwell struck out five and induced eleven groundouts, but was vicitmuized by a big inning in the third. Bridwell is posting the best strikeout percentage of his career in his first try at AA, while posting his best walk percentage since 2013 (Bridwell's third at Delmarva).

Frederick Keys 10, Lynchburg Hillcats 8

The Keys were able to prevail in a ten innings slugfest. The Keys put three runs on the board in the top of the tenth and survived a scare in the bottom of the inning. As was the case throughout the day, Trey Mancini and Drew Dosch were instrumental in plating the go ahead runs. Mancini walked twice, singled twice, doubled and stole a base while Dosch homered, tripled, walked and drove in six runs.

Delmarva Shorebirds 2, West Virginia Power 4

All of the Power's four runs scored off Brian Gonzalez, though Gonzalez continues to demonstrate a solid ability to generate groundballs. On this day, however, Gonzalez was victimized by the longball, though it was only the second he's yielded in 44.2 innings this season. Riley Palmer homered and Jay Gonzalez knocked in three singled to boost his OBP on the season to .363. Gonzalez also stole his 13th base in fourteen attempts.
