The trade deadline is a mere two weeks away. Alex and I are here to ponder the great question of whether the Orioles should, or will, buy or sell. Or the much more likely scenario, that they will do nothing, and why we think they will do nothing. After all, they're only four games out, and all they really need is better starting pitching, and they've already kicked Bud Norris out of the rotation...
Who is really out there on the trade market anyway? What could they get if they ever did sell? The prospect of a sell-off to mark the close of real competition for the 2012-15 Orioles era we have been in is not one that offers us much in the way of excitement. In fact, it's downright depressing.
As we run through all of this over an hour and 20 minutes of Camdencast, there's also some of the usual silliness, including some low-grade Walgreens trolling, a surprising amount of discussion of Will Smith the baseball player that never manages to roll into the Wild Wild West, and a man in a Wario suit chasing a bicycle up a mountain. All this and more in the new Camdencast. Check it out above!
Our iTunes situation needs a little work, so sorry to the subscribers who aren't able to get it on there this time. Hoping to work it out soon.
If you've ever got any feedback for the podcast, please feel free to let me know in the comments. There is always something I can do better. Camdencast remains safe for work, provided your boss doesn't mind if you listen to a podcast instead of while doing work. Take care until next time, and go Orioles!
